Inkonzo yokupha Ka Archbishop Tshabalala

Inkonzo yokupha uArchbishop Tshabalala is an annual event taking place from June until August. At the beginning of our (BIC) financial year when the New Year’s calendar is published, allocation on when and where the event is going to take place is usually included; all the regions are covered namely: Gauteng, Mpumalanga, KwaZulu Natal, Eastern Cape and Swaziland .

There is no set criteria on how each region is going to conduct their service, some prefer night vigil and others Sunday service.

The Archbishop arrives either on Friday evening or Saturday morning to start off with the in- house training for all the regions outside Gauteng. This is to ensure uniformity within the church

During the event, Archbishop Delivers a key note address and lesson to the hosting region and the topics differs yearly.

REASONS FOR THE EVENT

All church members from the respective region are given an opportunity to interact with the Archbishop and the First Lady

The Archbishop is awarded an opportunity to visit the elderly , people with disability, unemployed and the sick as they are unable to travel to Gauteng including other regions during National events

The Archbishop and the First Lady uses this opportunity to visit, understand and appreciate the challenges faced by the members.
